Ka'Lourin D'thBlayde had this to say about the Spice Girls:
Narrows his eyes as his lips purse together tightly and he bends slightly in mock painOhh.. such sweet, sweet sarcasm. Finer than any wine this world has to offer. The fluid grace of your tongue intoxicates me to no end. Remind me to relieve you of it one of these days, so that I may add it to my personal collection.
But, as you oh so delicately wish, I shall leave you to your "adult" banter. I need not be in this room to watch and listen to you child.
The doorway grows darker than night, and when the shadows fade, the dark elf is gone
Oh KaLourin.. dear dear ChaosLord
*clicks her tongue against her teeth* Tsk tsk..
You realize now that I know you are watching.. I am required to give you the best possible show..
*grins wryly and then averts her attentions back to Pierce*
Show?
I'm sorry, I do not wish to be in a performance.
*rests her back against the wall*
I can see you like taunting him.
glances at Amarys as he nods at the doorway where the dark elf stood
so, how do you know him? And, who is he even?

Verily, Pierce doth proclaim:

Eh, He is some shadowknight that has gone on for months.. now years.. telling people that he is some sort of God.. of Chaos or something. I personally dont much believe it. You know those shadowknights.. they think themselves mightier than all and powerful especially due to their unholy powers as well as the abilities to tap into a few necromantic incantations.
I suppose he fancies himself one day ruling the world or some such.. one can never know. Of course this is something I learned through my sources within Neriak. He can get rather violent with the whores when his rage overcomes him.. and on other instances Ive heard he is the best they ever had. He deals fairly with many merchants, but yet for some reason.. merchants are very cautious about what they trade and what deals they strike. I think they are rather superstitious and silly.
*grins over at Pierce*
Thus I taunt him about it.. I once attempted to steal his money pouch and got caught.. tried it a second time and he left me a "souvenier".. but I actually got away with my prize that time.
I see. Yes shadowknights can be a bit haughty, almost as bad as paladins sometimes.
lets his hand fall to rest on Jades shoulder as she rests
So, tell me, was your prize worth the bother in the end?
Consider it as me passing my self-inflicted mission. I only learned what I needed from Neriak's local rogue guild.. I learned the rest on the field. I do certain exercises.. if I dont succeed then I try a different tactic on the same victi.. er patron..
*grins wryly*
Her flexing hands find a grip and take up her bone-crafted longbow, and she draws an arrow from the quiver at her waist. Stringing that arrow, and pulling back, she prepares to let fly, training her sights on various windows and positions of the keep, unable, of course, to distinguish any targets or make any shots...
"It's mine... Give it back...
It's mine... Give it back...
Give it back..."
She continues her inane murmuring and lets the arrow fly, landing innoccuously in the ground some ways before the keep. She tsks, and brushes a tress of her golden hair from her face, and walks back towards her tent.
I see. Well, I hope one of your patrons is not bent on homocide.
The minute I know danger is truly there.. I shall take care of myself.
*laughs and smiles as she looks back at Pierce, then gazing down to the half-elven female*
What's wrong with her?
She's just had a rough time of late. Lost a lot of people dear to her. And, her husband has elected to be on the other side away from his wife when I'm sure she needs him most. I'm hoping she will come out of it all okay. She doesn't deserve all that has happened to her, and I know I've not seen all of it.

*for the first time since you've met Amarys.. she seems solemn as she nods at you*
Sorry to hear bout yer friend and all..
*looks down and seems just a bit unsure of what to say next*

Amarys stopped staring at Deedlit long enough to write:

nods at Amarys a bit
Yeah, I'm sorry for her too, there is no way I could just leave her like this.
shakes his head again a bit
I just don't understand Kardan. I mean, I consider him a friend. How he could do this to her I don't know.
glances at Amarys and smiles
So, tell me more stories. Enough of the solemn mood.
I am glad to see you here. Jade has been okay, but I am sure she will be glad you are here.
turns to Amarys, obvioulsy much happier now
Amarys, this is Kardan. Jades husband, and a friend.
Oh my gods..
She shuts her eyes tightly closed.. wondering if she is in a nightmare. Her eyes open once more as she whispers out.
"Kardan.."
I couldn't live with myself if Jade were injured or killed by an "ally." I still don't like the circumstances. The others don't know I left... I hope they'll understand.
leans against the wall in silent thought for a moment before walking over to Jade

Amarys, this is Kardan. Jades husband, and a friend.
*gets up and looks at Kardan*
Fine lookin fella she's got there.
*bows deeply, for once.. not in a mocking manner*
Apperantly Pierce here seems to think highly of you and your woman. Perhaps later on I can be of some use to you both with my.. services..
*grins and bows her head slightly towards Pierce.. meeting his eyes for a moment and then slipping out of the room*

glances at Kardan, then to Jade
I'll leave you two alone for awhile.
picks up the staff and a few other things then heads out of the room for a walk around the keep.
Hmm.. There isn't much here that is of true use to me..
*taps her fingertip to her cheek as she stops walking.. pondering for a second*
It will have to be them.. They are a good source of information.
*begins walking again with a purpose, her hips swaying slightly, noting the eyes that follow her lithe and shapely form*
*Amarys grins and licks her lips, continuing on*
Slowly he slides into the shadows himself, following her as she wanders the keep
Drop something? Or just looking behind you?
smiles as he offers a hand to help her straighten back up
Thought someone was pacing me but wasnt sure..
*offers him her hand and gets up before grinning widely.. a dagger in her other hand*
I like to be prepared... Im a good girl like that.
Yes, it never hurts to be prepared.
he looks around keep then back to Amarys
Would you be opposed to some company during your stroll?
For awhile, at least.. sure.
*grins and strolls on, looking behind herself*
Can ya keep up?
*laughs and continues on*
Yes yes, I can keep up.
moves closer up to Amarys
So, what are we looking for?
*laughs and continues..*
So, other than your friends being here.. what is *your* reason for siding with the Prince?
But what is that on the table behind her? It is immaculately clean and covered carefully with a cloth as to not get a speck of flour on it.
quote:
Amarys's fortune cookie read:
Right now? Just information.. The shadows is the best place to gather this.*laughs and continues..*
So, other than your friends being here.. what is *your* reason for siding with the Prince?
pauses a moment and thinks
I joined because I can not stand the moral high ground of most on the opposing side, I do not like or follow their beliefs.
That and I couldn't not leave Jade alone, I couldn't abandon her after everyone else has been lost to her.
I'm still torn that Nevia left, I am sworn to protect her...a brief frown crosses his face..but D'Syvat will protect her I am sure.
Who is this?
Tralina smiles at Amarys. Setting the leather she was working aside. She extends her hand in greeting to Amarys.
This is Amarys.
Amarys, this is Tralina.
Hello, .. a pleasure.. Im sure
*steps out in front of Pierce and bows deeply and gracefully at Tralina*
She can't help it.. she starts to laugh at Pierce staring at Aramys's butt.
Old friend of yours?
*smiles very sweetly at Pierce*
quote:
Amarys probably says this to all the girls:
*grins at Tralina knowingly and spins around*Old friend of yours?
*smiles very sweetly at Pierce*
smiles back at Amarys before tossing Tralina a quick glare
Yes, I've known her since I was but a young child.

Nevia DuLake had this to say about (_|_):
She paces about the encampment, casting a glance towards the the keep from time to time, but her focus clearly maintained downward, at her empty hands. She flexes them open and closed rhythmicly, and turns her head back towards the rest of the encampment, then down to a stack of boxes with Drysart's insignia upon them, and more specificly, the bow leaning against them...Her flexing hands find a grip and take up her bone-crafted longbow, and she draws an arrow from the quiver at her waist. Stringing that arrow, and pulling back, she prepares to let fly, training her sights on various windows and positions of the keep, unable, of course, to distinguish any targets or make any shots...
"It's mine... Give it back...

Give it back..."She continues her inane murmuring and lets the arrow fly, landing innoccuously in the ground some ways before the keep. She tsks, and brushes a tress of her golden hair from her face, and walks back towards her tent.
*frowns as he watches that, following her into her tent, and puts a hand on Nevia's shoulder*
Worry not, daughter.. You'll get it back. But your safety is most important.
This saddens me, but one last user of the arcane in this world is no great loss. I only regret, that it will be you who is lost.
As for the thief.. I have no great qualms at putting such scum to the blade, however my duty denies me. You shall live to see another day Pierce Ellinon, but only until the sun sets on your destiny.
I shall do my best to assure the woman recieves a quick and painless death to release her from this foul possession, but it is assumed you shall make that task difficult. I can only hope you end her misery of your own accord before her corruption spreads and I must attone for you all.
I go where Nevia goes, as I assume Nevia goes where D'Syvat goes. I had such hopes for new alliances, it would seem, like so many others, you are inherantly flawed. To be expected I guess, the sense of justice escapes those unworthy.
