Everyone wondered WTF when Reynar wrote:

Most of the Ssrae basement is undead. As are a good portion of the snakes.

Acrylia has undead, as does Akheva and VT.

And the grey is crawling with undead. Undead in Umbral as well =)

Problem is.. those arent the main EXP zones and that is what they are looking for. Usefulness in places like CT, Velks, Chardok, Seb, FG, so on is what is needed. The only place I can really think of is HS. All can now be handled easily by Druids / Shamans. As a matter of fact, most CT groups on Tunare run with just a Shaman and a Druid already.

Yes, they'd be useful in places like that, but for the mainstream population, Druids / Shamans provide a more tasty choice. As stated before, their usefullness in a raid will never be matched. Though you CAN exp in those places, it isnt common or the exped part isnt undead.

I've XP'ed in the basement in Ssra a couple of times as the only healer....

Works great. I slow, the level 60 enchanter kept me in C3 and the tanks beat the hell outta things.

Just had to keep bitching at the ranger to snare shit.

Beep. Beep. Beep... Ohh... I think my porridge is done.

Guess it's a catch 22.... Hopefully if there are better undead spells around (which would hopefully spread to Pally's a little too), then more people would go to places like that to XP grind. Improve cleric's undead spells and toss in a Necro with Dire Charm, Pally and SK to get their own licks in and a Shammy or Druid to heal/slow and you have a good group IMO.

You can move the class, but can you move the rest of the population? With the rest of the population looking to Druids / Shamans for healers, how could the cleric population move everyone from their fast "safe" xp? Sounds a bit tough to me.

Some classes just arent seen as 'effective' in exp groups. Look at beastlords, who wants them in exp groups?
