i dont believe in Churchs as "Gods House" i thinkt they are a great place to fellowship and discuss God and his word. I dont think you have to goto church to see God and feel his presance.
Faith is in your heart not in a building or a pastors Speach. IT CAN help give you insight and clarification on The Word. (which i wont discuss my views on that unless pried)
Fellowship and inspiration is all i get from church when i go. I dont feel god any more of less there, i feel it more when im with my kids and think about thier birth and unhinged happiness

IT CAN be good but sometimes it can be VERY bad. Look at Waco. I dont adhere strickly to what the Bible says cause frankly i see the bible as a Historical document that in itself is probibly VERY exaggerated (history was written by the winners and soemtimes people puts WORDS in others mouths).
Faith is inside not outside and if you have to prove your faith to people than you DOUBT your own faith. You only have to prove it to yourself and God (or "good orderly direction" for you athiests)

Of course. I was never trying to prove my faith in the first place.
And, yes, I do realize that many religions are screwed up, sadly. But, I was more just pointing out how she kind of bashed organized religion in general, which includes Christianity, which, you know, offended me a little.
I'm sorry if I was too mean in stating that.
Give people *too* many guidelines, and they don't know how to live a good life on their own.
