my big heavy favorites are Manowar, OLP, Tea Party, Cruxshadows, System of a Down, Queen, and (now, thanks Vorago) Buckethead.
As for me, I enjoy the sounds of Vorbis screaming in agony as Bill Bradsky attempts to make him eat his own head.
Oh yeah, I like Rage Against the Machine and Rob Zombie, and some of KoRn's less angsty works. I fucking hate angsty shit. Let's see, Static-X is good, Disturbed ain't that bad, maybe a little Blue Oyster Cult if I'm feeling retro.
Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism, it's just the opposite. - John Kenneth Galbraith
And for some specifics, main ones at least: Cake, System of a Down, Tool, VAST, Weezer, Jamiroquai, Apocalyptica, A Perfect Circle...
And probably some others.

Don't have a definite taste (I kinda span stuff), but I like stuff like Tool, Blue Man Group, NIN, David Usher, Moist, Weezer, System of a Down, Our Lady Peace, The Offspring, Green Day, Barenaked Ladies, Nickelback, Finger Eleven and The Tea Party.
Same here....but Edited to bands I've bought cds of, or like listening to.
Other than that, I like Hardcore, Punk, Metal in small doses and just good ol' rawk music!
My favourite bands are Weezer, Hot Water Music, Saves The Day, System of a Down, The Foo Fighters, The Tea Party (thanks to EC) and loads of others I can't think of right now.
