I have no problem with that. In fact, I respect it 100%. I myself consider Adrecia a good friend on the boards, and she can attest to the fact I've never tried anything.

I am just sick of the flamewars in general. Flames for the sake of flaming. Judging others based on some high end standards or some such and if they fail to measure up, they are nothing.

I see it every day on these boards, and it happens for no real reason. This thread is a perfect example. A simple request turned into a name tossing bash fest.
Why? No reason.

I direct this flame to the entire board in general and not any one person. Everybody needs to just step back and chill, MYSELF included. (Cuz I know somebody will call me a hypocrite for freaking out then telling people to chill out.)

And people wonder why I don't post as much as I used to.

Za, I know that you care for Adrecia. But the best way for the message to get across is for Addy to have stood up in a public post here and say it. It has alot more power. Addy.. in order for you to be truly heard.. you must step up and let yourself be heard. Its alot more powerful that way and the point definately gets across better.

Believe me, I know what its like to keep your mouth shut while people hit on you. If it comes down to something that really truly bothers me.. Ill give them a verbal bitchslap now. If that doesnt work... then I'd post it publicly on here. If any other female.. or male for that matter.. is in this similar sort of position where they are being constantly hit on, etc.. I highly suggest that it be you who makes the "cut this shit out" post. Let them know that you truly mean business. People like us stay quiet far too often.. and its the people like us that stay quiet.. are the ones who get burned worse in the end for holding our tongues when we could have stopped it before. Like I said.. I am no stranger to this.

In addition, this is me speaking of my own opinion and none of MadCat's. I do grow a bit weary of the 'pornlord' jabs made when counter-attacking to anything he has posted. Mainly because associated with it is also some sort of 'omg he is such a freak' kinna thing for being in that business. *shakes her head* Such is not so and there are at least a few people around who can say this. He is not some sex-crazed freak like so many paint him to be.. Just a regular computer/gamer geek like the rest of us. For him.. its just a job. Again this is just an observation that I've not only seen here but in IRC and other threads.

Edit: Also I'd like to state that I myself never saw this official announcement that you two were an item and only saw like hints at it here and there within posts. I never knew if it was an on and offline thing or just an online thing for sure.. So KaL isnt the only one who didnt know.
