ahh like the first things I did were to get my engines upto 12 so travel was easy. to oncce you get the hull up around 15, moeny is not much of a problem, doing trade routes between ore and goods planets net usally a millon cred profit per trip. Then just save your turns till you can get like fifty trips off.
