I was able to log on for a few minutes...Then I logged off, and tried to log back on with the /newui thingy...
I was having problems getting past the character select screen (kept crashing to desktop), and then I found out it crashes to the desktop in regular EQ, anyways.
I smell an emergency patch.

Keep in mind that EVERY SINGLE SPELL RULE has an exception for bards. Every one. It doesnt matter what they do to any spell, or how carefully they test it for bugs with bards.. they're going to be broken in some form or another.
Chances are if bards aren't complaining, the data didnt make it to the patch servers.
