pikachu in ssb is a fucking whore, they vastly made him too good to use, for what I feel was another push to market pokemon, but that hardly makes him the best.
the fact is, there is no best character...because its power, is only a comination of the user's skill and the overall cheapness of that character, and nobody can respect a cheapshot assmaster, so yer left to squabble amongst the mediums, and thats still left up to skill
and, if you just compare skill, then you get into wang waving contests, and those are right out
so to sum it up, Captain Falcon owns all your asses...I mean there is no greatest fighting game character.

Yoshis air Down+A > All. It can do nearly 50 damage to each Master Hand if timed right. Both if they're overlapping eachother

ok, yes, his sword hits like a mack truck, but it has to actually hit, damage is nothing, its all about the nimbleness and speed, he's slow and easy to get around, and his saving jump is bullshit cubed (yes cubed) I've tried to use him, really I did, but I'm sorry, you can't beat the blinding speed of falcon, range or no range, he's still the fucking man.
That's why I like Voldo so much. He doesn't have any chains you can do over and over again. He takes actually skill to play. The best part about him is that he is offtimed, which means the speed he attacks isn't the same throughout the rest of his moves.
For example, let's look at Fei Long (Bruce Lee Wannabe). All his attacks are very quick, but don't do alot of damage. Then you look at Zangief (Muscle Man). His attacks are slow, but when he hits you, you feel it.
Voldo/Sodom/Dan are all offtimed characters. Most of their moves don't go with their speeds in which you would assume go with them.

The cool thing bout 'Gief is his combination moves in Super Street Fighter 2. They ruled.
