Heres what I have right now, and I need you guys to pick a square and tell me what you want your house to look like, and what type of terrain you want(forrest, graveyard, etc..)
Also, if all the people who want a specific kind of terrain chould aggree on a part of the island, I chould make more of a "Great forest" ( or plains, or whatever)
Two more things:
first, each square is 4.2 miles on a side(7 km).
Second, the red squaresand the three small islands are off limets, because that are all parts on the space port

A tree city (much like EQ's Kelethin) atop a deep shaft into the mountain. The shaft will have carefully placed crystal deposits to bounce and reflect light into the shaft so that it's well lit.
Stone bridges will cross the shaft at various heights, connecting the ramps that go around the edges and leading to the many side caves that serve as part of this city.
Waterfalls will flow from the top of the shaft down the sides, providing soothing background noise as well as watering the plants growing on the walls of the shaft. This will create the effect of the entire city being a vertical "hanging garden".
At the bottom of the shaft will be a great pool of water, dug out of crystal. Here (and on some of the walls) will thrive the Invid Flower of Life. It will grow only here, in this city. Sunk into the water, hidden by the flowers, will be the Protoculture Matrix that powers it all.
And no Deth, you may NOT borrow a cup of Protoculture for your experiments. If I gave some to you, I would have to give some to Mort. And that would be scary. [ 06-07-2002: Message edited by: Palador ChibiDragon ]

I wanna big ol' Swiss Family Robinson style luxery treehouse out on the tip of that small strip of land that extends out into the sea. I'll call my home "Seahorse Snout Manor" because the coastline of my territory looks like the outline of a seahorse.
Wizard's Loft. A haven for every spell caster, despite what they do with there magic, but much like any other haven, there is no fighting. Ivy covered old brick building, a few floors high, tall towers on either side of the building.
On a cliff overlooking the sea would be nice.

H7
James Bond Bad guy style mansion with lots of cool gadgets.
I want a three-story mansion, with shielded above-ground laboratory wing, and tidal power plant over the water.
I've been informed that the boss wants me on hand in his area, D 4. In case his next door neighbor's pets get loose and wander over or something.

Also with remnants of a long lost city in ruins. Crumbled towers and buildings everywhere, with the stone skeleton of a felled castle. Needs a lake or pond of some sort, with a guardian wurm. Put me where ever, but give me a flying pseudo-fortress
Take K 8 (Yah, I know it's somewhat off the map, but you can still see it). Put your flying fortress out over the water, with some kind of detatchable bridge connecting it to the small area of land you have.
In fact, I suggest you make the bridge iridescent, and name the place Valhalla.

Scratch that. Replace it with a truely GIGANTIC tree. (Think the Mana Tree from Secret of Mana, or a Millinium Tree from Rifts:England) Build the upper parts of my city into the tree itself.
After all, if I'm going to have Protoculture around, I might as well use its life-altering properties. [ 06-07-2002: Message edited by: Palador ChibiDragon ]
