It depends. I can't really sleep on my stomach, but I will lie down like that if it's comfortable at the time (and then move into another position later).

im also a violent sleeper though, and i mumble and kick into the air...ive been told its scary. i wonder what i dream about....

Anyone else know the feeling of how your like 80% asleep, and then you have this like mini dream where you trip and fall and your body just sorta jumps and wakes you up?
but aside from that, i tend to pile up massive amounts of pillows and blankets to the side of my bed and half-flop onto that.
i don't quite have the Mrs. Bates thing going on with my bed, but because of the odd habit of almost always sleeping on the left edge it's actually a hella lot softer than the right side.

Body pillows kick ass! I have a red Satin one, kinda like a huge read cylinder. I LOVE it. Can't sleep without when Im sleeping alone.
I do not talk, snore, or otherwise make violent motions, that I'm aware of or have been told about. I have however had those 80% sleep jerk reactions though. I've also had those expeiriences where you are mostly alseep and dreaming but partially awake, and something in the waking world blends into the sleepy haze world, and you react to it as if dreaming.. It's weird..
