Ralph made to mistakes. A, thinking he can beat up Mog in the first place. I very seldom hear of 12 year olds that can beat the Crap out of High schoolers. And Ralph sounds like a bully. And usually all it takes to take down a bully is a swift punch in the face or a quick knee to the crotch. Either will have them on their knees bawling like babies.
His second mistake is in assuming that even if he can beat up Mog, that that would make the Girl like him more, and Mog less. Most sensitive girls who aren't complete bitches usually will not abandon their boyfriends just because they got beat up. Unless, of course you play it right.
