Let's all stop for one moment and think. How long has the RP forums been up? About 6 months maybe? Has RPing completely ceased to exist here since then? Nope. Not one bit. And I doubt it will, either. Get over it.
Is this spam? Maybe. I never actually intended it to go the way it did when I started doing the thing between Rhiannah and Caelin; I had simply been bored and made a post that basically said "Rhia has a new sig pic." Whoopie do, right? It's just spam, huh? Yeah, but many other posters do it all the time, making a post for the sole purpose of showing off thier new sig pic.
This was my thread that I had started so isn't only natural that I get sway in what I do with it? Some one posted a comment this post that caught my attention, and I decided to go with it. Did I go onto other threads and start doing this sort of interaction there? Nope, kept it in here. Did I go on and on for pages with this IC posts? Nope. Right when I made that first OOC comment way back on the first page, I was done because I saw how sappy it was probably getting and made a joke about it.
Then people come and start pissing and moaning about the content. "Oh boo hoo. Two people hugging. How scandelous!" Grow up people. Do you really think I would post sexual material on a general audience age group board, even though it most assuredly get myself banned?
Any one can make fun of another. That's easy. It takes a great person to be able to look at themselves, look at what they're doing and then laugh out loud at how silly it really is. I did that.

Troodan said "I thought this board was about EQ< blahblahybalh" and everyone bit he head off, saying this board was about anything we wanted it to be. People post SLs. Parce, YOU post SLs. You want the rules to be no one gets to pos roleplaying threads but you. Do people remeber the pirate thread? That was roleplaying! It still has a space here, if you want other people to join in. And yes, people CAN join in. I know that I occasionally do in Lyniar's and Jania's threads.
However, the outright flaming is dumb. it goe s "I'm mad about thing actually said in thread!" "Well, I'm mad about your flame!" Well, I'm mad about YOU flame" and on, and on, and on. Grow up.

If you see a thread that people are roleplaying in and you don't like roleplaying, how about not posting in it to be an asshole for once?
I mean really, nobody's going to think you're weak or something because you left a thread on course and didn't derail it. This sort of crap is getting far too out of hand.
