Anyone knows that without a party system, the percentage of the voters that matter would vote for whoever promised them more moneyz or looked the best. You wouldn't have these things called 'beliefs' and 'issues'. It would be 'money' and 'looking goodness'.

Pretty much. Except people vote for parties instead of those things mentioned in my previous post. It's a little better. :P
I prefer to examine issues on their merits, and make my own decision.

The problem today is that the media and parties didn't try to make an informed electorate; they just pandered to the lowest common denominator.
