I think this is a rather amazing community, and that nearly everyone is an important part of it. Even the lurkers, some of whom take the large step of becoming contributors.
The positive way in which everyone has approached this thread, and the other one (which had serious negative potential!), shows what a great community this is. Falaanla is right, but look how well everyone's doing, anyway.
That's why I didn't mention anyone but Drysart. Though I should probably include Lyinar, since she's the one who lured me here from Whineplay, and is a spiffy person, also.

Arrenn. Shit, this kid lives in what might be a perfectly constructed environment... perfectly constructed for bringing him down and making him think he's shit. He's one of the smartest, most mature kids I know, and reminds me so much of myself it's rather scary. One of these days I'm gonna whisk this kid away to Toronto and save him from Utah. Gods know he deserves it.
I know I'm probably going to get my ass flamed for this, but Kekvit. This is a guy who's had so much disappointment in his life, and just got more of it here. He needs respect, and what's more, he needs someone to actually be friendly and civil to him. For all that, I respect him.

It is just that you are a faint shadow of your past actions. You are still as great as ever, but you have faded from the fore front because of your absence from posting for that spell. Even when you had the oliphant sig pic you didn't post that much.
You are still a very respectable and kind person. I, at the very least, enjoyed your love threads, even if some people complained because they felt like moaning (without a partner.)
I respect you; however, you barely come to mind any more, more so now than a bit ago. Just give it time and you will have fresh actions that new people will know and remember.
