Hear people out for god's sake before you start posting Cadga like posts that have no point or do not reflect the current argument. Or just pointlessly flame that person because you happen to disagree.
I don't think it WAS a waste of space before it turned into everything flaming...but, oh well.

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY TEACHING KIDS!!!!!!
I don't know, but I do know they tell us to end questions with these guys "?" and not six of these "!".
Maybe they left your generation out in the cold about that one.

Hey, you stole my nickname,
Otaku, not to mention, you forgot to insert "Bush > Clinton" into your post.
Makes me glad that I'm taking an honors course and I'm being taught the real reasons.

Well,Mini-AzizzaOtaku, he was a bit overexcited...
Not to mention, if you take this into account with his posting history...
And he doesn't help himself at all in these situations...
Oh and what history would that be? Standing up for what I believe instead of bending over and kissing someones ass just because they see something differently.
I guess it shows what kind of people you are that you not only attack me for defending myself but then you attack someone else for defending me as well. Quite pathetic. You all are how old again? 8? Maybe 9. Go get your diapers changed.

AFTER YOU, YES?
I just thought it fit. It's a pet peeve of mine when people say things like "WOW YOU'RE 14, ALL OF YOUR OPINIONS ARE COMPLETELY ILLEGITAMATE." [ 12-20-2001: Message edited by: Kloie ]

You kick so much ass.
almost all books will have errors of some sort. some will just skip over the facts and the publisher doesn't notice or even care. if it bothers you so much to do this, right a letter to the company that wrote the book and tell them of their errors. some will fix it in later books, or throw away the letter not caring

The matter of the cult still remained to fascinate me, and at times I had visions of personal fame from researches into its origin and connexions. I visited New Orleans, talked with Legrasse and others of that old-time raiding-party, saw the frightful image, and even questioned such of the mongrel prisoners as still survived. Old Castro, unfortunately, had been dead for some years. What I now heard so graphically at first-hand, though it was really no more than a detailed confirmation of what my uncle had written, excited me afresh; for I felt sure that I was on the track of a very real, very secret, and very ancient religion whose discovery would make me an anthropologist of note. My attitude was still one of absolute materialism, as l wish it still were, and I discounted with almost inexplicable perversity the coincidence of the dream notes and odd cuttings collected by Professor Angell.
One thing I began to suspect, and which I now fear I know, is that my uncle's death was far from natural. He fell on a narrow hill street leading up from an ancient waterfront swarming with foreign mongrels, after a careless push from a Negro sailor. I did not forget the mixed blood and marine pursuits of the cult-members in Louisiana, and would not be surprised to learn of secret methods and rites and beliefs. Legrasse and his men, it is true, have been let alone; but in Norway a certain seaman who saw things is dead. Might not the deeper inquiries of my uncle after encountering the sculptor's data have come to sinister ears?. I think Professor Angell died because he knew too much, or because he was likely to learn too much. Whether I shall go as he did remains to be seen, for I have learned much now.
