Lyinar I've never had a problem with crashing in DAoC, and I've been playing since early Beta3. Lag and graphic slowdown yes, but only in *large* battles and I'm running on an older computer.

If you're the type who searches for *only* PvE or *only* RvR you're gonna get bored. If you don't mind/prefer either to an extreme, its a lot more fun.

People get bored with it because there's nothing to do at high levels except RvR. Though they've been taking steps in the right direction, they're still sorely sorely lacking in high level content.

Imagine EverQuest.
Now add A LOT more stats.
Now figure in that the developers actually tell you specifically what all the stats do.
Now add in the fact that classes are fairly customizable. Stats have a noticible effect on gameplay, and the way you spend your specialization points can carry you down a number of paths.
Now add in the fact that you can, if you choose, go out and kick other people's asses with your character.

In my opinion, the stayability is fine. I think people just expect the wrong things, and then they get dissapointed when it doesn't meet them. I tink the initial thought of it was crush kill destroy with no death penalties! yippy! and then they found out there is a tad bit more and they werent happy. Then people said that there wasn't the same atmosphere as EQ and that nobody talked. This is because DAoC does not equal EQ with different graphics. I guess all you need to do is go in expecting it to be what it is, not exactly like another game. honestly, I think the enviroment would be alot better for Role Playing than EQ could ever be..*shrugs* thats just me.
