*a slight displacement of air comes from the tree behind Didanya*Hail Didanya
I thought I heard something on the rain tell me to visit Surefall...what is going on?
I knew the guild wouln't let me down Karana has ordered me to protect Taran, Piper and their unborn child from the Tier'dal. I've killed inkies before, i doubt These hateful little creatures will get in the way of myself, or the Rainkeeper.
*leckie turns to Siliddar*
Well then T'vyl. You don't seem to hold much favour with the Throne of Neriak. Are you with us or against us Tier'dal?
*An armoured dark elf, clad in the black and russet tint of charred guardian and sentient armor can be seen from time to time in the 3rd gate sector, carrying scroll cases from the Lodge of the Dead to the great library. [ 01-08-2002: Message edited by: KaLourin DthBlayde ]
He appears to be researching... something.*
I have killed a few Teir'dal myself...
An entire race so blinded to not see they are no different than us.
Tunare will be with us when it is time.
*brandishes his blade dangerously*
And I warn you to not try to stop me.
Ah well, i was getting too old anyways.
Geeorn unstraps his hammer from his back and hefts it a little. He stand to the left and slightly behind Taran.
Well to some degree it's nice to see that some of our previous dicussions have had some impact on your life Taran, but being as this new development in quite a schock to me, I'll just reserve comment for now.
Still, it is nice to see that you have taken the time to choose yourself over the desires of your mother, but I am curious to how hard you have tried to understand your father at this point.
For us, the outcasts and half-breeds, it seems even when the cards are in our favor it's still a bloody fight to survive it all. And once again, we are not so different after all you and I.
When you need of me, you know where to find me. As always the wilds are a comfort.

How is that? Dark elves were captured high elves that were twisted and tormented for thousands of years.
Wood elves are high elves that have adapted to the woods.
I fail to see the similarities there. Besides the fact that we have both undergone a change at one point or another.
But then again both the changes are in completetly different directions.
So how are you and I similar? Please druid, explain this to me.

Ooo, is there gonna be a big fight now? Is there gonna be a big fight SOON? I'm watching!
Nice show, nice show. And yes, we do taste good, but have a tendency to blow up whoever attempts to eat us.
*Sillidar also makes 2 zombies have an over-dramatic sword fight for sols, modifying them with surprising gility and speed for zombies*
If it can be helped, there will be no fighting... no bloodshed. Bringing Neriak's wrath here would do more damage than a single life is worth. Taran needs our help though. He will need a guide, as well as an escort to vouch for his.. dark skin.
Please go quickly and silently, and show him how to walk softly in the forest and our many waypoints.
*Piper looks worriedly off in the distance for a moment then smiles softly at Didyana*
It shall be done. Neriak won't find Taran if they don't know what Taran looks like.
Caanis, We have a pupil to care for, Get ready to travel... oh, and Taran is to join you in your lupine form. see to it that he stays that way until we are safely away from here and Neriak.
"Good luck Sis, you'll need it if Neriak is anything like I remember it..."
Shielded by the shadows, he muses on his decision to stay as an invisible guardian of Piper...
"As much as I hate to admit it, you can look after yourself and I know Caanis won't let you come to harm. I just wish I could make sure that you would be safe"
With a sigh, Pavarin continues his task, all the while worrying about his sister...
Look, but don't touch...
[small}Touch, but don't get caught :D[/small]
From within the shadows of a nearby outcropping of rock, a being listens and ponders. She, too, left Neriak behind when she felt her path fall in a different direction from the heirs of the city. Under the ground and in the dark may have been her home, but this young woman could not be yoked.
"Another chooses my fate? And of noble blood. Truly this marks an occurance. Many of the Tier'dal think me dead. Perhaps it is time to change that impression. This young one will need guidance. This guidance will be beyond what his closest friends can give, as they will not know what it is like to be Tier'dal in the world of Light."
A faint glimmer of dark leather flashes in the light as the dark elf melts into the shadows, making not a sound nor leaving a trace.
Stop being foolish, Taran. You know Neriak has eyes everywhere. You know you can't run or hide forever, and you know you'll be hunted down for deserting our people; if not by me, then by the people themselves: They won't understand, they won't listen if you try to explain, and they won't forgive.
I suppose this is partially my fault, I'm sure it's your father's blood in your veins that's making you want to follow your flight of fancy. But you have to listen to reason. All you'll accomplish is hurting yourself and your precious druid.
We can still turn this around, Taran, and make things right. Return to your responsibility, kill the child and leave the woman; there are plenty of fine Ladies in Neriak that would make wonderful a Queen someday; and we can forget this ever happened.
*Looks at Piper and sees the Strength of Nature running thru her*
Also Piper is no slouch in the butt whooping catergory either...I think he is in good hands.
*bows to Taran*
I do hope you take no offense if I slay Tier'Dal in your presence if I am to aid in your travels. As I am sure if it comes to it and you are forced to kill Fier'Dal I will not take it personally.
*turns to Didanya*
You pick...interesting....situations to make your return in.
I am not a disgrace...
So condemn me, insult me and exile me if you must Vinalrii, Kazfeil, and Venefica. But know this, I have not yet begun to fight.
*Silliddar deftly turns around and walks away, his cape flowing brilliantly in the air*
The boy steps into the light. He is surely an elf, but he has features high, wood, and of dark elves. His skin is the tome and color of a high elf, but his body seems to be built like that of a dark elf. His voice is the same silky one of a woodland elvish bard's, as well as the look of his face. He is dressed in a vest of chain mail and a pair of patchwork pants. He has a lute at one side of his belt, and a sword at the other. On his back, he carries a small bow and a batch of arrows, tied together in a bundle, hanging over a white cape. A feathered leather cap adorns his head, with a small bit of blond hair sticking out of the back.
So, what is your response to this? [ 01-18-2002: Message edited by: Folx ]

Let them kill each other. Perhaps they'll provide enough distraction for us to escape unnoticed.

Safe Journey you two...may you find peace...somewhere.
ooc: Sili...Caanis was waiting for something worth responding to.
For the love of Karana run!!
*Didanya makes like the trees of Surefall...*
I would ask where we are destined, but I guess it doesn't matter as long as we're together.
*squeezes Taran's hand gently and smiles*
