Azymyth for a long time been just a figure head in this storyline that Rhiannah comes from. He was the ancestor of Caelin, the main charactor. He was considered a legend to the position of Guardian (something I am reworking) that Caelin has now inherited. There never really was anything to him other than the name.
Then, for whatever reason, I started using him as my screen name and later as an EQ charactor. When I RPed him, it was as someone who did his best to be helpful and protect the weak. You know, be a hero type charactor. But as of late, I've realized how empty his personality really is..
You see, Caelin was always a pretty direct extension of my own personality, and I've tried to make Azymyth's similiar but different in it's own way..
Just now I've started actual work on Azymyth's history including bloodline and such. So for the moment, his RP personality is in a sense, in stasis for the moment until I've determined how I want him to be...
He is what I want to be. He is a good physical specimen. He has nice features, a good physique, and perhaps the most important reason: He's dumb.
Yes, that's right. I don't like being a smart person. I subscribe to the "ignorance is bliss" theory. I believe Calvin from "Calvin and Hobbes" put it best:
"Once you know things, you start seeing problems everywhere...and once you see problems, you feel like you ought to try to fix them...and fixing
problems always seems to require personal change...and change means doing things that aren't fun!"
So. That's my reason.
Necromancer: How DARE you imply that I was involved in a rude act with my undead servant! I will flay the flesh from your bones! I will summon a thousand maggot-ridden corpses to gnaw your flesh! I will trap your soul in-

Elethi is a facet of myself. Always the cheery one, he's always laughing and joking. I try to make him not very good with weapons, but its really hard for me to make myself weak. Attemping to appear suave to the women, he ussually ends up looking like a bungling lackwit.
He has a heart of gold however. He always stand up for what he believes in, and his friends. This is suppose, is how I want to be. In real life, I tend to be the guy who always agrees with everyone, for better or worse. I guess, I hate having people hate me, if that makes any sense.
I doubt anyone will read this, but its here anyways, hehe.

you'd be a yapping little dog man (don't care how they look in 3e...they're dogs not lizards)?
Whats your point?
It's all about the stats.

It seemed to be the most powerful race in horizons, plus it looked cool.

Also, it reminds me of my dad. He always had to have big things. He drove a huge truck. Wore a big cowboy hat and buckle. He fit the stereotype of a Texas Cowboy. Loud and larger than life. So, for me, it's also a way to connect with my dad now that he's gone.

Ah'kiam started out as someone else's character in the Triplets game Jania and Deth came from. Unfortunately, there were elements of that story left incomplete, and the GM that ran Ah'kiam (who was an NPC) didn't want to hang out here, and didn't want to RP Ah'kiam to continue the story elements, so I took him over.
Ah'kiam is just plain fun to play. He's a rogue in the best sense of the word, and it's fun having the alternate "screw the rules" attitude that Ah has rather than the more or less straight-laced (albeit sometimes rather eccentric) view of the world Deth has.
