1. Dying while LD trying to zone out of Unrest - GM sympathized, but couldn't help me. Nice enough, I kept it civil and got over it.
2. Getting stuck in the ceiling in Paw - you know the place... Guide took a while, but got me out.
3. Getting trapped in the middle of OOT due to a stalled rowboat... it would just keep warping in place... guide said they were buggy, and was kind enough to summon me to the dock on Sister's Island. I wasn't expecting that, but I asked anyway.
Never met one who was a jerk, and even if I thought one was, that's be no excuse for doing what you did. Those are people behind those sparkly swords.

You know, folks like you seem to think that when you pull some trash-assed stunt like this that you are the only one who has decided it would be fun to pull this crap on a GM or Guide. What you don't realize is that a LOT of OTHER people also think "I'll be the one to get his goat today" and so a GM puts up with idiots almost constantly. And when he punishes you, you think "Man, he's too strict and needs to lighten up!". How do you think you'd react if you get insulted every day you go into work from the moment you log in, and I feel REALLY bad for Rallos' GM (and Vallon's and Tallon's and all the other PvP servers) because the nature of the server tends to mean the nastiest of the nasty call those places home.Lastly, Ozuri is a very good GM. He handles disputes strictly but fairly, and he's a good natured guy if you aren't insulting or chiding him on. In fact, he has on two occassions undone suspensions I did because he felt the player I punished should be given a second chance. He's really a top notch HUMAN BEING (which many players tend to forget GMs and Guides are), and I was proud to work alongside him and really think he deserves to be a Lead.
Interesting fact about Ozuri : this guy speaks every language you throw at him except German. When dealing with international issues, he was the one we always called, he soaks up languages like Spongebob Squarepants soaks up water.

Ozuri is a great guy and a uber GM! We are lucky to have GMs like him. I have requested many times that my play server be under his wing.

Actually, folks, Vladd's right here. So anyway, GM appears like 5 min later and gives me a verbal warning before asking me anything about what happened, so, I get all huffy (I'm kinda known for that) and go into an in length speech about game politics and morals (also mentioning to the GM that I was only helping her out a bit or "powerleveling" 
) effectively leaving the GM stunned with awe and my brilliant wit 
She even gave me 12 Gnome Sandwich and some kick ass ale! 
But, yeah, it's over and he's been punished, both here and in game.

Anyways back to topic, I always try to treat the guides and GMs with as much politeness as I can. I imagine what they go thru is quite similar to what I went thru in my 3 years working as a waiter/cashier/host at Pizza Hut... immature, caustic brats and jerks that dont quite grasp that who they are talking to is often just the "messenger" and is doing all they can do to help, but is often restricted from doing anything more. Whenever I have to petition about something (which isn't all that often), I always try to crack a few jokes with the guide/GM, see if I can make 'em smile. Not sure how successful I am, but at least I try.
Harassing the volunteers, I hope you enjoyed it.

Trust me, every time you make a friendly comment to a guide or GM it makes their day (petitioning "Just wanted to say you guys are doing great!" or something similar will ensure a GM or Guide will be smiling for at least an hour, maybe more).

I used to do that on Xegony. Sadly, the guides on Xegony are not the brightest stars in sky (although they do their jobs pretty good ). Often i'd get

I had a guide that called me Corpsefisher for awhile, since two or three times I beat him to getting someone's corpse out of OOT after the boat had dragged it to the edge of the zone by using my corpse locate and enduring breath songs... he would pop at the corpse and find me dragging it across the ocean.

I'm not saying I'm the perfect example of how to deal with guides or GM's, I'm known to engage in heated debate about policies and things like that, but at least I try to remain polite, but what you did is just plain bad taste.
So, I have a regular job again, being system admin, web guru, perl jockey and general master-of-all-things-that-hum-in-the-server-room.
I also get to deal with people. You know, the ones that use the services the company offers. It's no fun being insulted, even if it only happened once this week. Imagine it happening once an hour - I'm surprised none of the GM's have gone postal yet.
*shrug* you can try to hide it behind the lame excuse of 'joke', but it was just a dumb move - it made you look like a dumbass.
