I'm pretty sure that all gaming journalist sites are all horrible.

My suggestion would be Giant Bomb or Rock Paper Shotgun.

Edit: Not sure if either of these sites have a twitter feed like Kotaku though.

I'm looking on the front page and I don't see a single article about microaggressions or discussion over whether you're protecting or enabling Lara Croft so it's already better than Kotaku.
