I'd like one since apparently the account I registered Planetside 1 on is cursed when it comes to the station log in, forever stuck in some quasi limbo unable to be used that they don't want to fix.

You can sit inside an enemy exit spawn tube thingy and just shoot people in the back when they come through it without getting telefragged.

You buy 40 dollars of Station Cash for a bunch of weapon unlocks, instant beta access, a 6 month 10% exp / money boost, and weapon skins.

It's a pretty good deal, you keep the 40 dollars of station cash, the alpha bundle really doesn't cost anything.

I was under the impression that they were going with the F2P model, a la Tribes: Ascend. With "Auraxium" (the blue resource) being akin to XP in T:A, as you use it to buy new weapons/implants etc. And Station Cash is just a gold resource to get crap faster.

I love night battles since it's actually dark instead of just having a blue/purple tint. The bases look very cyberpunkish with all those neon lights. Light Assault class is definitely my most favorite because you just go behind enemy lines and just go on a monster kill streak. A short quarter second burst and a quick knife will outright kill anyone but a MAX. Skyguard owns.
