22nd December 2011.

Can't say I'm surprised, I got a sneak peak into the beta and it definitely isn't ready for launch. The main systems work properly but it needs several months of spit and polish.

I fully expect the 4.3 patch to be out in early December, then, to keep subscribers up.

I really have high hopes for it. I'm trying not to get them up too high, though. Because it's Star Wars, however, I did pre-order the Collector's Edition. I think I would have preferred a different character for the statue it includes. A character that we know and who defines the setting a bit better, would be an improvement over a random Sith we know nothing about.
I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

Except for the entire book about him, yes.

He's the most famous character in the Old Republic era, who else would you suggest?

The artist formerly known as Zephyer Kyuukaze.

He's also the central figure in both the Republic and Sith story lines at the end of the game, but I won't ruin it.

Cancelled my preorder. Getting back into school has shown me I haven't got the time and it sounds like one of those releases better left to mature for a few months before getting into it.

I haven't read any books that would be before A New Hope, so since I didn't recognize him (granted I haven't inspected the statue thoroughly" I just figured he was a Sith they invented just for SWTOR. Back when the website was first brought up, I read some of the Holonet stuff, but I've since forgotten it.

I'll be much more into the lore when the game comes out, most assuredly.

EA just sent me two emails, implying that I am beta testing SWOTR. Huh.

I got the same ones, but I never got into the beta. I think someone screwed up.

My roommate, who's not in the test, got those as well.

Me too. Bastards.

Apparently the emails were sent to a group of non-testers by complete accident, and have absolutely no bearing on your testing chances, according to Bioware. So you can't even hope that getting them meant you're being considered for the next round of beta or anything.
