So I've been talking about it for awhile and my wife saw a special about it on OPB tonight. She finally understands what it's all about. It looks pretty interesting and hell, I will get some exercise while looking for "buried treasure" with the kids.

My question is, Has anyone done this before? If so, any recommendations for a beginner? A good/cheap GPS to start? anything really.

Most modern phones have GPS capability and service. And I know WinMobile and iPhones have specific applications for GeoCaching; can't speak on behalf of Blackberries.

I've managed to do alright with google earth and a little ingenuity actually.
