Topic: Best place to get individual MP3 files?

Normally I torrent everything, but there've been a few cases where I wanted just a single song or two from an older album. The only way to grab it is from collections and discographies and that usually means unselecting 200 files then finding the one that I wanted.

I don't even remember what I used to use, I think it was limewire. That was a long-ass time ago. What program and network is big right now?

Is de-selecting the 200 songs you don't want a task that is worth 99 cents to have done for you?

Use select none rather than un-selecting each manually? Otherwise, use Usenet or search blogs.

You realise you can select what files to download in a torrent, yeah?

It takes all of 5 minutes to do.

I'm not really understanding what you're looking for to shave those all-important 5 minutes off your day.

Oy, I feel so old. I stopped torrenting crap years ago.

Also, aren't there web applications that'll rip the audio out of youtube videos and let you download the mp3? Seems like that'd be pretty easy.

Yeah, but usually the quality isn't as good and the ones I've used seem to make the playtime on the mp3 artificially long. Like a 2 minute video/song says it's 23 minutes while still only being 2 minutes. It's really only been handy for me for things that are only on youtube/hard to find anywhere else.
