Youtube is blocked here at work, and my pc doesn't have sound anyway.

I had a faint hope for more Max Chackly adventures.

I actually drew some but my scanner isn't vista compatible and I haven't bought a new one yet.

That was muted, but actually rather amusing. Then again, I came in with no expectations.

What I want to know is how the captain of the plane dragged his enormous brass balls up and down the length of the plane...twice!

With great balls comes great power.

Stories like this get me all choked up. Everybody on the plane from the flight attendants to the co-pilot did an extreme goddamn job with clockwork precision. Even the passengers worked together and with the staff to ensure everyone's safety.

Could this be Oceanic flight 815?!

That was amusing, but obviously made by someone without the least little clue about airplanes. Birds, even small ones, are extremely dangerous at low altitudes. Geese, due to their size, are about the worst--look at the '95 AWACS crash at Elmendorf for an example. Hell, we had a flock of freakin' sparrows cause $1M damage to a 747 on takeoff at one of my previous bases--we were just lucky they only took out one engine and the plane could come back and land.

Too bad it's always the morons who get the press.

I think the best thing about these videos is there's always someone who doesn't get the joke.

It's just that the joke is not only stupid, but doesn't really make a statement, either. All these morons claim to be the next Swift, but are really just intellectual failures.

No, it's actually pretty funny. It's almost frame for frame the same as those stupid "A PLANE DIDN'T HIT THE PENTAGON ON 9/11 IT WAS A BOMB THAT THE GOVERNMENT PLANTED" videos that were all over YouTube at the time.

I guess if that's your idea of humor, then; I'd argue that's exactly what makes it stupid instead of funny. IIRC, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery rather than mockery. Mockery requires a little extra that this attempt lacks.

But if folks want to think it's funny, that's fine, too.
