I'm going crazy trying to remember the name of a particular handgun!

I don't remember the caliber, but I believe it fired rifle rounds. It was a single-shot breechloader. I had heard of it years back, but had long forgotten it until I saw it again in a crazy japanese movie, Versus.

Help, I'm going insane! Someone has to know what I'm talking about...

I saw that movie. Wasn't it a Marlin? I think that's what CBTao told me.

Don't recall Marlin ever making a breechloading pistol, but I could be (and often am) wrong

The Contender doesn't look like it, and I can't find any Marlin pistols that fit the description...

Well, I don't know if anyone's seen the anime Outlaw Star, but it has a loading mechanism similar to Gene Starwind's caster...

I'm not sure how to describe it... the end slides out, and you then insert the round into the chamber and push the end back in again.

Breech loader pretty much covered that, what color was it? how long was the barrel, how big were the rounds, compared to X object.

Nickel-plated, looked like 6-8 inches, didn't see the ammo.

Maadi-Griffins are still the only .50BMG handgun that ever did, and that was just from a shop in some dude's basement

Looks like some kind of cheesy paintball gun, tbh.

Nope, still not it! It had a fairly normal-looking barrel.
