Funny you should bring this up. Me and Janus are going as the Blues Brothers for Halloween.

Edit: And if you haven't watched this movie you should. Though I may be biased as a pseudo-chicagolander. I drove by the prison in the beginning all the time!

One of my favourite movies of all times.

Seen it probably ten times already.

Jesus. People from Europe have seen the Blues Brothers. But many people around my age at work have not.

Well, it is one of the great comedic masterpieces of our time.

I'd hope places besides the US would have seen it.

Never seen it, and I'm a psuedo-chicagoan too.

I have been to the theatre in Woodstock where they filmed Groundhog's Day though

Yay for movies filmed in Illinois.

They're been filming parts of the new Batman movies in Chicago too. The batmobile chase scenes in the first were filmed on lower Wacker drive, and they just blew up a warehouse on the northside for the movie.
