I was walking into my apartment building with my son when a couple of guys stopped and asked me an odd question. They were dressed nicely like door-to-door religious people seem to be, and had LDS nametags. But they didnt try to convert me or talk abvout god or anything.

Instead they asked me if any hispanics lived nearby.

This is not normal, is it?

Most Mexicans are Catholics and pretty religious.

Many Mexicans bear the double-edged reputation of being cheap labor.

Some people look for minorities to punch out.

Any of the above could be answers to why they stopped to ask you anything. Where do you live? Here in Arizona, someone's always looking for Hispanics.

Virginia.

We dont get many of the immigrants from down south, but lately my apartment complex has been overrun with a lot of non-english speaking immigrants. I dunno if they are legal or not, either.

I spent 3 weeks in Va, and not ONCE did you come visit me...

Come to think of it... in three weeks, I only saw one mexican..

They could very well have been Mormons. I've heard that the LDS and various evangelical churches are gaining most of their new converts in Central/South America and Africa.

Apparently some folks in those parts of the world viww Catholicism as old n busted and Mormonism and such as the new hotness.

I'd give up booze if I could sleep with six different chicks regularly.

One for each day of the week, plus orgy day on sunday!

No caffiene, either.

Why not join Catholicism? I get a free toaster if I convert ten souls in a month.

Mormon's are like evangelical Christians but raised that way instead of finding !JEE-SAUS! after being the biggest whore at the prom three years in a row and getting teen pregnant.

As such, I find them slightly more likable.

They (Mormons) are always coming through my neighborhood and asking me if I can point out the Spanish speaking families. The urge to close my eyes, spin in a circle, and yell "THERE THERE THERE!" is overwhelming at times.
