A new take on the old "sex on a bear skin rug" cliche I suppose.

I was secretly hoping that the bear would wake up and maul them both.

Then I came. Or did I?

Oh, and this clip would've been the greatest ever if at the end, the guy had pulled a Nick Manning and screamed, "DROPPIN' LOADS ALL OVER A DEAD BEAR! WET FUR!"

I can honestly say that I found that video really disgusting.

And I don't get grossed out by a whole lot.

Agreed.

I'm not a PETA crazy person or anything, but killing endangered and threatened animals is just disgusting, as it screwing on them.

er... bears are not endangered or threatened

certain types of bear are becoming scarce in certain areas but they aren't on the endangered list.

Yes, they are. Threatened and Endangered lists are two different things.

"It is estimated that there are at least 600,000 black bears in North America. In a 1993 survey, Canada had an estimated 327,000-341,000 (with no estimates for Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, or New Brunswick). In the US there are an estimated 298,000-326,000, (includes an estimate of 100,000 from Alaska and excludes South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming). No estimates are known for Mexico but the bears are thought to be isolated in four relatively small populations that, in spite of some progress, are generally considered threatened due to increased pressure from human encroachment, poaching and habitat loss."

Both the grizzly and the polar bear are on the endangered list.

The black bear population is staggered throughout Canada and the US. Some areas where they used to be are now nearly non-existant, while other areas are thriving.

It's still 100% legal to hunt them within license limitations in most parts of the US.

They were a lot worse off once upon a time, but that ain't so now, and a little hunting isn't going to do the species any harm anymore.

I don't know anything about the whole endangered thing. I was just really grossed out. I think it started with the screams of death before it fell from the tree, then them fucking on the bear, and then the dogs trying to get it. Like, it just kept going from bad to worse.

That sound wasnt the bears death scream... it was the dogs baying at it to let the hunters know which tree it was in.

--- I can't say how it works in Canadia, but in the US you have a Federal level for Threatened and Endangered and a state level for it. Example is in NJ brook trout are Endangered, but in Montana it's a common fish.
