So, Tarquinn?

Going through iTunes videos to use up a gift card I got for Christmas, and noticed a disturbing* trend in Rammstein's videos. The old version of "Du reichst so gut" is about vampires, for example, while the newer one is simply overflowing with homoerotic imagery. And who could ever forget the video for "Mann gegen Mann"?

I speak German, so they could be singing about gingerbread and puppies for all I know. . .but is Rammstein the German answer to The Village People?

*Not that there's anything wrong with that!

From what I remember him telling me, they're more racist cunts than homos.

EDIT: To be fair, I was drunk at the time.

Blondie -- Rapture

There are few things I find more amusing than people claiming that was the first rap song, even noting that's where rap got it's name, when the song talks about some of the originators of rap.

She must see into the FUTURE to have known about them. Must have been the martian that ate her head.

I hadn't heard that one.

On the other hand, it's hard to deny that between this one and Rapper's Delight, they helped popularize the genre and bring it more mainstream. I remember when Rapper's Delight hit the radio and became popular: everyone was like and .
