edit: that didn't work URL here

I share my name with 23 people. A google search brings up a real estate agent in Baltimore.

When we lived somewhere in the US and were checking out a video to rent the clerk looked up both our names and found another married couple with our names living 3 blocks from us.

According to "The Internet!(TM)", there is exactly one person on the world with my exact name. CEO of some American company. My last name is rather rare, only 5 persons in Germany, that aren't related to my family, have it, if I recall correctly.

Edit: Whoa, 990 people in the States have my last name.

151 people have my first and last name, though the list may be inaccurate since I believe we passed the 300 million mark for our population not too long ago.

I knew there was at least one other guy with my name out there. One day at school when I was little, a bunch of kids who were normally mean to me were patting me on the back and congratulating me. At first I assumed they were playing some stupid joke, but when the teacher got in the act I finally asked what it was all about.

As it turned out, the morning paper included a story about a boy scout with the same name as myself who had valiantly saved the lives of some whitewater rafters.

I was tempted to let them go right on believing I was the same kid, but unfortunately I had seen one too many GI Joe PSAs by that time and decided that honesty was the best policy. Dopey me!

Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. In peace, nothing so becomes a man as modesty and humility, but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with rage and lend the eye a terrible aspect.

  • 99.86 percent of people with the first name Brian are male.

Hell, there's 3 or 4 Brians on the forums here.

As far as my first and last name goes, it claims there are 15 matches. I've looked in the past and for my full name there's only one match, and oddly he's almost the same age I am. Kinda creepy.
