PSP games are also not region coded, so importing is quick and painless.

Translating Disgaea would be a chore.
But after you get the story through the first time, the rest of the game is just fun mindless making your characters retardo strong. And it's not that hard to play a game in Japanese when you don't need the story, even with 0 knowledge of the language.
