B) I've been playing a warrior, so I'm not accustomed to mana consumption, what are some pointers on playing a resto-druid?
When leveling don't go resto, it's just frustrating and dosn't really serve a purpose. Go feral till 60 then go over to their useful spec.

Yeah, and number crunchers in my guild recently discovered that gear that adds mana regen does NOT work in-combat, and instead rolls itself into your spirit regen.

Presumeably it was done in 1.11.
I get 115 mana every 4 seconds with fel energy. Or I can go the HP route and get 200 hp every 4 seconds with fel stamina, which I can then turn into mana at a 1:1 ratio

5/5 Ferocity
2/2 Brutal Impact
3/5 Feral Aggression
2/2 Feline Swiftness (omg runspeed that early owns)
3/3 Sharpened Claws
2/2 Blood Frenzy (Hello seal fate)
3/3 Predatory Strikes
1/1 Feral Faerie Fire
2/2 Savage Fury
5/5 Feral Aggression (Finish it off)
5/5 Heart of the wild
1/1 Leader of the pack
Then you go into resto
1/1 Nature's Grasp
4/4 Imp. Nature's Grasp
5/5 Natural weapons (zomg 10% white dps)
1/1 Omen of Clarity (Insanely good with cat form)
Then balance for
5/5 Imp. MotW|
4 points left wherever you want them, Furor or natural shapeshifting are decent options
Then once you hit 60, respec into something raid friendly
But that is what I used for my druid and it was obscene how fast stuff dies.
