When I exit EQ2, ~50% of my processor is still being used. This lasts until I restart my computer.

I've tried exiting everything before playing EQ2 and after playing EQ2, and it still uses about the same amount of processor power.

If no one else has this problem, can anyone tell me why it might be doing this?

EverQuest2.exe or whatever isn't still running after you exit, is it?

Or, more specifically, can you look and see what executable is eating up your resources?

Wow, and here I thought I was the only one who still played EQ2! I still enjoy it... I'm 54 now.

But no, I've never experienced anything like that

I know Pesco does, he's in his low 50's as well.

I don't think I ever have that problem but I can check tonight when I log on.

No, it isn't.

The thing that is using most of the resources appears to be the System Idle Process...

Did you have to download any kind of funky driverset for the videocard you have to work with the game?

Not that I know of!

I use the normal nVidia drivers (I have an nVidia GeForce 6600 GT)

All times are US/Eastern
