How do I extract the sound from a .mov file on a PC?

All the info I found says "Go to Edit - Extract Tracks" in Quicktime, but that seems to be an option only on the Mac version of Quicktime.

Help, please.

Open up sound recorder, as well as volume control. Make sure your input source is the same as your output source(change the input source to match, not vice versa). Play the video file, hit record in sound recorder, and you're good to go.
