Saw a license plate today, on a car with zillions of rainbow and gay pride stickers:

Guess so.

Wonder what the DMV person thought it was supposed to be?

I doubt the DMV person gave a shit about what it meant.

Theoretically, there's supposed to be a check to make sure it's not obscene. . .but I guess it only seems that way in close proximity to the shrine to gay pride.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Theoretically, the DMV is also supposed to be a system that helps us to register cars, acquire licenses, and do other necessary automotive functions in an expediant manner.

The only expediant thing about them is how fast they leave at closing time.

That's funny 'Sage!

Our DMV in Vegas has a couple of locations that go super fast. We also have these handy ATM-like machines where you can renew your plates and other things like that instead of speaking to a person.

I did have one bad experience at the DMV that I usually get in and out of really fast. It wasn't really their fault though. There was some stupid holiday (Nevada Days or soemthing like that) that caused them to be closed on Friday and Saturday, so everyone and his brother showed up on Monday. Took me 5 hours to get my car registered.

That kind of thing is a dream in New Jersey...DMVs are legendary for being horrible...when I was taking my driver's test, I had to go and schedule it and finally got a date and time after three hours of waiting.

What does a law have to do with registration for a license?

Sounds more like a policy to me imo

IIRC, a while ago I saw a gay-bumper-stickered-up Cadillac that said "fckbush" or something like that.

Also saw a V R MAMA which made me smile, and DOOOOOGS which made me go "Huh?"
