So I just went back to work and exchanged my GeForce 6600GT 128MB...

For an ATi Radeon X800XL 256MB. Hope this one has better performance on some games that the 6600 couldn't handle.

There shouldn't BE any games that a Geforce 6-series card "can't handle" yet

I guess that depends on what your definition of "handle" is though.

What games are you talking about anyway?

Well, that's kinda understandable. SOE is so fond of bloated engines that don't run well on anything.

I'd be interested in hearing if the new card actually works better.

Good luck with getting that above jerky-o-vision.

Man, I made that same mistake almost, but on a weaker set of cards.

ATI cards are a fucking bitch to handle compared to nVidia. All the settings are so easy to modify with nView, these layers of bullshit and bullshit ATI uses are just obscene.

A Kansas City Shuffle is when everybody looks right, you go left.

It's not something people hear about.

I think you'd be asking a bit much... heck, I wouldn't try that on my 6800GT.
