Anyone have this? I'm thinking of grabbing it.

While I enjoy the Fantasy Genre, its been most of what I've played for the last who knows how long.

This looks like a great break from it.

I know Bajah liked it, but i need more opinions and shit.

can you please fix my title

It is... a completely different game from the previous Fallouts. You cannot compare them, unless it is a comparison of the representation of the Fallout story or world. But game play cannot be compared.

Edit: Or are you thinking of Fallout: Tactics that came out a few years ago?

I've heard from a trusted friend that it's alot like Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance (the first one) but not as good.

As a Fallout fan, I do have to despise it utterly.

But looking at it from an objective perspective, the common comments in reviews are along the lines of "okay, pretty much a ranged-centric clone of BG : DA with some flaws." So if BG: DA/BG: DA2/Champions of Norrath don't do it for you, give it a shot.

I enjoyed this game more than BGDA2 and CoN combined.

Well, the women in CoN are hard to beat... so... I just mean gameplay wise.

The dark humor and post-apocalyptic landscape was just like you remember from the other FallOut games, just presented in a different way.

The soundtrack owned, too.

I recommend the game.

100% Combat... Its Ok, but the lack of an environment is kind of a downer... its good for some wasted hours.

They keep you happy by giving you lots of guns to screw with... and Vechicles... Multiplayer is utter shit unless you set some rules for you and some friends to follow.. pre create characters... and follow the rules you outlined.

Another Unsolved Mystery is goin' down in history.

I've already had 3 absolutely hilarious and memorable quotes, and im maybe 2 hours into the game:

"Whoo! A whole case of them blue pills! I'm gonna get shit-faced tonight!" -- by the guy that I took some "medical supplies" to.

"You are here to kill the radscoripions, that includes this big motherfucker" -- the tutorial thingie box.

"Will you help me find Mr. Pussy?" -- Hooker
"How much will this cost me?" -- my character
"Mr Pussy is the name of my cat!" -- Hooker

I hope the rest of the game is this hilarious. Its a GREAT break from the million fantasy themed games out there. guns and baseball bats = ownage.

I might actually give this a rent now.

If i do, I'll give two reviews. One from the Fallout fanatic who's played through Fallout 2 ~20 times, and one from a normal perspective.

my view is coming from owning but never having beat any of the other fallout games.
