Hi-LARIOUS!

I wish they would've taught me this stuff earlier.

Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism, it's just the opposite. - John Kenneth Galbraith

we got a guy at work that follows those guidelines.

If a maintenance programmer can't quote entire Monty Python movies from memory, he or she has no business being a programmer.

Too freaking true.

I'm sure this would be funny if I knew what was going on!

reminds me of a quote a friend of mine made about an on-board example the prof made in Java class...

"What a sloppy and ugly solution. Fits my programming style to a Tee."

Bite me.

No, Really. Bite me.

I've seen and had to deal with code that followed many of those "guidelines".

It was enough to drive you crazy some days.

Reminds me of a story my Ansi C professor told us the other day. He said that one of his students used to use #define to write entire stories and substitute them into his code. Something like:

#define ONCE_UPON_A_TIME void main(void)
#define THREE_BEARS {
#define THEY_ALL_LIVED_HAPPILY_EVER_AFTER }
etc.
etc.
