The start of one of my drawing assignments.. I have to do 3 themed drawing in miniature. This one is just a test at 7 by 10 inches. It will be finished at 2x3". Basically, we choose a theme, and draw 3 images with that theme. I think I'm just going to do Jack Sparrow using 3 different medias. Fun project. ^.^

Neat. You're gonna do one with him grinning like an idiot, right?
I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

Maybe. I have about 15 or so images to choose from.

Edit: Actually, I don't have any of him grinning, so if anyone can find one at a decent res. and decent quality, I'll be sure to add to to my choices.

Why are they having you draw it miniature? I mean, what's the practical use?

I dunno.. I have a miniature project in 3D too. I might do Jack Sparrow's sword to connect them all.. Probably not though... It's impossible to find a decent image of it.

I just do what I'm told.

Wow, Ares. Just wow. We knew you could do anime, but you've just shown you can do just about any type you set your mind to. That looks great, and he really comes out of the paper nicely.

Aw, thanks. ^.^ It'll be a test for me to do this in colour (especially at such a small size) since I've never coloured any of my realistic portraits. :/

Execellent work I must say.

Also a nice change of pace to see something aside from anime/elvish. You're quite talented.

I myself am an artist, but I could never draw that realistical. Very nice drawing Ares, although I have never seen your animes before. If anyone accuses you of tracing that, smack them over the head with a clipboard. That'll show em to accuse you of anything else, ever again. Worked for me. Again, very nice drawing.

Uh, I'm not about to draw an ENTIRE body in a 2x3 frame of reference. That's insane. I draw bodies all the time. Life drawing class.

It's amazing that people always like realistic work. Drawing something like this is so much easier than anime for me. O_o (as long as I have a reference that is... :/)

You should draw him when him and Will Turner commendere the Dontlas. He has that pistol and Will has the sword. That would be a wicked picture.

Yes or No. If you could do both, then do both but if its hard to fit it would look bad if you had to squeez them in so just do one.
