I was in the Beta, but I have no idea how good it is now. Anyone playing it?

Shadowbane is on the list of obscure, long-beta-life games not to get.

I hear Horizons is pretty fun though. It was in beta, anyway.

    You hear wrong.

Picked it up when encouraged by a friend. NOT very fun at all, and still insanely buggy. Only good thing IMO is the neat crafting system

The game was honestly in no way shape or form viable to be made though either -- it was too good to be true. :/

Yeah, no shit. It was like "we're going to make a spaceship that takes people to the moon! And it's going to have a whole bunch of laser guns. And it's going to run on the pollution in the atmosphere!"

Pretty much. I woulda LOVED the original vision, but it would have taken SO long to make, and would have required an insane amount of manpower, along with ways to do things that hadnt been invented yet

    NEGATIVE PINGS!

Oh wait, that was Dawn. It was one of those vaporware games that never got made/never should have been made.
