Holy crap

Anyone know what the hell was going on in there though? Is the girl the bad guy and the guy with the yellow stripe on his black suit the good guy?

Can they even PUT that much violence in a trailer?

Just did a quick search for this on Emule. A bunch of versions labelled uncut come up. After watching the trailer I'm forced to wonder what is so bad on the uncut version. Actually, I probably don't want to know.

Looks like an asian version of Strangeland, only updated.

Strangeland was a fucked up movie by the way.

As the Otakon guide suggested, this movie makes "Cannibal Holocaust" look like "The Care Bears Movie"

Someone's been visiting mutilation fetish hentai sites and thinking "Y'know, this would make a good movie."
I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

whoa

That does remind me vaguely of Strangeland, but quite a bit gorier.
I've gotta check this out sometime.

It is not often that I am left speachless and disgusted at the same time.

This is one of those times. Hell Hanibal could take lessons from these people.

You know it's really sad when this kinda stuff is looked forward to.

Violence for the sake of Violence, morallistically speaking. The movie, after checking up on it, really has no redeeming value aside from lets show you how fucked up we can be, and use as much blood violence, or anything for that matter.

Trashtalk me all you like, but to me, thats just.. ugh. The question really is... why? Even traditional slasher flicks don't try and grind it in that bad, for no real reason. It's like trying to mimic the "Faces of Death" to such a degree, it really makes you wonder about the minds behind it.

Not that I agree with them, but the "why" is quite simple. Because they can.

Well supposedly the media; music, games, and movies, are a reflection of the society that creates them. At least thats the common staple, and to some degree I agree with it concidering the sheer amount of apathy and morbidity of the world at large. That makes things like this more frightening, than just the fact they tried to show how realistically they could make a skinned face slide down a wall. And the fact people would concider it 'quality entertainment'...

I was totally screaming.. it horrified me to see the head be cut in half.. or the face sliding down the wall.

I can't handle that kind of thing. I can handle your everyday KEEEEYAH film, but slasher or horror films with gore and guts like that make me sick. The fact that people are so desensitized to these things anymore makes me even sicker.
