I've also noticed in my day-to-day life that people are maturing at a much younger age (and I don't mean physically, really) than they did when I was growing up, etc.

And I agree with the kids "maturing" way too fast these days. I see elementary/junior high kids with their twenty dollar allowances, going around with their expensive brand clothing, the baby pimps decked out with their bling that their mommy bought for them. The thing I ESPECIALLY dislike is how kids these days arent afraid to sass you. I remember when I was a kid you wouldnt even so much as talk to someone two or three years older than you, for fear of your life.
Also, it seems the "play outside" stage is just gone. All they do is walk the streets, imaginations in the gutter. I NEVER see kids play guns anymore. Guns fucking ROCKED. The whole experience. Going down into the basement in preparation, picking out all the best stuff. A knife or two or three, a side arm or two, and one main gun. Maybe some piece of junk that everyone imagined as being a grenade, or a key-cracker. My games of guns were elaborate, and awesome.
But now I have paintball, so all is well.
Back to the kids again.. Yeah, they're all aging too fast, it doesnt seem right to me. But if what they're doing is cool to them, I guess go for it. I still say guns was cooler than what they do now, though.

Honestly I am 25 but there are days I feel twice that and other days I feel like a kid again.
most of the time I feel either 16 or 26. depends on the situation.
