Discworld is a fantasy series by a British author named Terry Pratchett. It's about a world that is flat, the Discworld, that rides around on the back of four elephants, who ride around on the back of a really huge turtle.
It's a comedic and satirical look at a lot of fantasy, and some things in the real world. Death, the Witches, Rincewind and the Wizards, the Watch, etc, are all part of different story arcs throughout the series.
