I want to offer up a tribute.

A tribute to a very special thing.

Today...I sold my Bow of Plenty to Griswold, in the town of Tristram.

I remember the delight I felt when I first had Cain reveal it in all its splendor for the world to see. Bright, shining and sturdy, with a duration of 125.

I was a young thing, just in my 3rd or 4th level of the black labyrinth. Now I'm down in the deep, dark 11th level, and my poor friend just isn't able to help me any longer.

I remember the excitement I felt watching it tear into skeletons and obsidian lords and poison spitters and familiars, how gracefully it mowed through collections of gargoyles and horned demons, and how it delivered the killing blow to countless named monsters.

So, my Bow of Plenty, I now lay you aside, for a Bow of Vim has taken your place. Rest in peace. Forever.

You will be missed.

Pity, I'll have to try harder.

It is a tool, to be used and then discarded when a better one is avaible!

By choice, not because I couldn't get anything better. I got lucky early on and found it and it got me through a lot.

My Bow of Vim gives +13 to my vitality, though, so the BoP had to be put to pasture.

I cleaved through Diablo before he could say "Holy Flamin' SHIT!".

'Course, having 60DEX and 150STR tends to help a LOT...
