15 Minutes is one of the few "recent" movies that has genuinely surprised me.

DE NIRO ISN'T SUPPOSED TO DIE!%@!%!^!^!^~^!!!!

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piƱa coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

I'm surprised at how many people have the Apocalypse Now Redux/Director's Cut.

And I think it's damned cool, in all honesty. Especially when you see all the other wide and varied stuff on the list. Generally you see people who liked Apoc Now being war movie buffs (usually see Full Metal Jacket and Platoon and occasionally Patton on the same lists, I've noticed).

I liked Apocalypse Now because of the fact it was such a surreal adaptation of Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness".

My DVD's are mostly anime, not the world's most interesting list.
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.
