Okay, so thursday, Vanaric and I find out that Escaflowne is showing in a theater in Dallas. Much rejoicing is heard. We decide to go see it the very next day!

The very next day(friday) rolls around. We find out Escaflowne is no longer showing. Much cursing is heard.

I was in the Virgin Islands once. I met a girl, we ate lobster, drank piña coladas. At sunset, we made love like sea otters. That was a pretty good day. Why couldn't I get that day over, and over?

wtf is an Escaflowne and why would you want to see a movie named it?
You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Take out the robots and anime and I'll go see it.

I'd say that Escaflowne has almost everything in it that is stereotypically anime

But I admit, it is a decent story, even if I didn't understand most of it.
