I don't sing in the shower anymore

Mom and Dad let it be known they could hear me and it turned me shy

But in the car when it's just me, I like to sing showtunes sometimes

My sister tape recorded me singing in the shower once.

I got revenge by pouring out her shampoo and filling the bottle with toothpaste.

Let's see...usually what I sing in the shower depends on what music I have going first thing in the morning. Lately it's been "We didn't start the fire".

Self Esteem, by the Offspring

I wrote her off for the tenth time today
And practice all the things I would say
But she came over
I lost my nerve
I took her back and made her dessert

Now I know I'm being used
That's okay man cause I like the abuse
I know she's playing with me
That's okay cause I got no self esteem

We make plans to go out at night
I wait till 2 then I turn out the light
All this rejection's got me so low
If she keeps it up I just might tell her so

When she's saying that she wants only me
Then I wonder why she sleeps with my friends
When she's saying that I'm like a disease
Then I wonder how much more I can spend
Well I guess I should stick up for myself
But I really think it's better this way
The more you suffer
The more it shows you really care
Right? Yeah yeah yeah

Now I'll relate this little bit
That happens more than I'd like to admit
Late at night she knocks on my door
Drunk again and looking to score
Now I know I should say no
But that's kind of hard when she's ready to go

I may be dumb
But I'm not a dweeb
I'm just a sucker with no self esteem

My parents just came back from a planet where the dominant lifeform had no bilateral symmetry, and all I got was this stupid F-Shirt

Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera.

I have brought you
to the seat of sweet music's throne
to this kingdom where all must pay homage to music,
music ...

You have come here,
for one purpose, and one alone
Since the moment I first heard you sing,
I have needed you with me to serve me, to sing,
for my music
my music ...

(changing mood)

Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination
Silently the senses abandon their defences ...

Slowly, gently night unfurls its splendour
Grasp it, sense it - tremulous and tender
Turn your face away
from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light -
and listen to the music of the night ...

Close your eyes and surrender to your
darkest dreams!
Purge your thoughts of the life
you knew before!
Close your eyes,
let your spirit start to soar!
And you'll live
as you've never lived before ...

Softly, deftly,
music shall surround you ...
Feel it, hear it,
closing in around you ...
Open up your mind,
let your fantasies unwind,
in this darkness which
you know you cannot fight -
the darkness of the music of the night ...

Let your mind start a journey
through a strange new world!
Leave all thoughts
of the world you knew before!
Let your soul take you where you
long to be !
Only then can you belong to me ...

Floating, falling, sweet intoxication!
Touch me, trust me savour each sensation!
Let the dream begin,
let your darker side give in
to the power of the music that I write -
the power of the music of the night ...

You alone can make my song take flight -
help me make the music of the night . . .

I'll also sing "All I Ask of You" from Phantom as well. When I sing that, my 3 year old, who has heard that song as a lullabye all her life wants to come into the bathroom to sing with her daddy. I hear her singing bits of it outside the door between knocks. It's quite funny.

The ending theme from Legend of Dragoon. The shower has the BEST acoustics for that thing.

Tea Party songs. Mostly The Halcyon Days, Sister Awake and Mantra. Again, absolute perfect acoustics. Especially when I use my tummy as a drum.

Only one problem, though... I wanna dance to it but the shower is reeeeeally small and I have a tendency to slip.

Yep, I dance, but my shower is notoriously small, so I don't have much room for maneuvering. Still, best move I did was AFTER slipping... fell on my ass and did a bit of impromptu breakdancing I'd never try to do ever again.

LoL, thats hilarious.

I have a tiny shower too.. one of those closets with a spount and a drain. Only good thing about it is that I take hot showers, and it heats up so much in there that I dont have that problem you get where half of your body is cold while the other is warm, lol.

Nah, it's just... thin, and long, so I can dance in, like, a straight line. Which dosen't work with my style of dance (pseudo-bellydancing mixed with morroccan-style hip flinging. Need a wide circle, usually, or room to maneuver my hips.). Tried to dance like I usually do, slipped, suddenly find myself wishing for a ph@7 b337.
