The timeline was funny the first 10 times, sure. Then it became stupid.

Sure, mentioning timelining someone was funny the first few times too.

But geez. Just because someone didnt see something before you, you ARE NOT SPECIAL!

On the other hand, seeing the same links posted over and again every several days gets annoying also.

Did anyone ever post the timeline as anything other than a joke? I must've missed it.

Yes yes, it pisses everyone off (I started the first anti-timeline thread, remember? heh) but unfortuantly people still seem to think it's "clever" or something.

Yes, Timelines are annoying. Yes, they're rude and disrespectful. Yes, they should stop. YES, THERE HAVE BEEN THREADS ABOUT IT BEFORE.

They did nothing, and neither can you.

How long has it been since someone posted an actual timeline, anyway? Pretty much, someone just says "Timeline!" and the other one replies "Bite me!" and all is well. It's more of a joke than anything else.

Jiminy Christmas, can you possibly be a LITTLE LESS SENSITIVE TO EVERYTHING, Fal?!

And I seriously doubt anyone ever used it in the insulting manner suggested.

Actually it's not. Not in the way he was using it:

que = as in "pool cue"
queue = line
cue = a signal for something to happen

As an example with a sentence:

When the lights go on, that's your cue to get in the queue for your new que.

Nice try, Drysart, but my OED tells me that "que" as in "cue" is not only obsolete, but out of vogue since the 18th century, when it was rather rare even then.
