Neither. Free POP accounts are rare because they don't include advertising.
That said, I know when Yahoo bought GeoCities, I was allowed to continue using POP mail because GeoCities always allowed POP mail (But doesn't now).
In anycase, try inserting pop.mail.yahoo.com and seeing if that works. If it doesn't, I don't know any place that lets have free POP e-mail. You can try a free redirection service like Bigfoot if you want.
For the SMTP server, just use your ISP's (Usually smtp.your-isp.net).
